DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL – NEWARK
On Sunday 15th September 2024, the team at Turton Building Control came together to enter the 5th Annual Dragon Boat Festival.
The weather started good but quickly deteriorated, and by the end of the day “wet” was an understatement, however that didn’t dampen their spirits as we competed to the bitter (and cold) end.
A fantastic day and as a company we raised money for 2 essential local charities – Newark Children’s Bereavement Centre and Beaumond House Hospice.
We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to the following organisations for their generous donations in helping us raise over £1500 –
